It was said that the mission in Pachipenta location was there from 1950s. Priests used to come to this place every now and then from Saluru. It was a sub-station of Saluru Parish. Fathers used to visit this place traveeling on Bullock car ts. It was Fr. Antony Parayil who built the present Church in 1964. It was made a parish in 2007.
