St.Paul's Orthodox Church has its begining as a combined congregation in the year 1969.Our 1st Vicar Rev.Fr.P.T.Cherian took over the charge and conducted Holy Qurbana at CNI Church.
Later with a vision of creating an independent church for the Gwalior Orthodox members,in 1970's they managed to purchase a 3000.sq.ft land at Basanth Nagar, Morar,where the church is situated at present.A church was constructed in the land in year 1982 but due to the space constraint of the church building,it was reconstructed completely in 1993.And on 21st-Nov-1993 church was consecrated by His Grace Job Mar Philoxenos.Since then our Church celebrated its Perunaal every year in the month of November.Thanks to God Almighty for the blessings he has showered upon us for the last 43 years.{1969-2012}
Apart from this, THE ORTHODOX CHURCH SOCIETY(of St.Pauls Orthodox Church) with a motive of enlightening the society with education, were successful in opening 2 schools in the city.

2> St.Gregorios School, Bada Gaon
By the grace of almighty the 2 undertakings has been grown today to a much bigger extent.and the church and the society is proudly running the schools efficiently to reach many more heights in the coming future.
Also,we would like to thank Rev.Fr.Yakob Baby,our Vicar,for the kind of leadership and support he has been giving to the CHURCH,SOCIETY and SCHOOL since 2008 and may his blessings and support always be with us in the coming years also
