In 1993 Rev. Fr. Cruz Marian was asked by the diocese to be in charge of Eral – Othasai Matha Church area and Rev. Fr. Cruz Marian built the presbytery which was blessed by Bishop S.T. Amalnather on 07.06.1997. Rev. Fr. M.S. Antony was appointed as first parish priest on 06.12.1999. Rev. Fr. Antony Pitchai extended the Church and it was blessed by Bishop Yvon Ambroise on 14.05.2008.
