Dear children of God, it all started at my childhood, when I once happened to come across an unfortunate death of a little girl at nearby neighbourhood. I wanted to know what will happen to people’s soul when they die because they say “Soul return to God & Body to its Dust”. Then I came across religions & beliefs which couldn’t satisfy my thirst to know about the living God and eternal life (life after death). Luckily I came to the knowledge of Christ through my husband, where I have started my Christian life knowing God more closely.
During the course of time as the days passed by I grew in the knowledge of Christ. The desire to learn more and more about his upcoming kingdom grew much stronger in me. I had a wonderful chance to do my Theology (both diploma & masters) here in the UK as it was God’s gracious plan concerning me.
After my studies, I was planning to leave back to my country. But God clearly spoke to me about the ministry He wanted me to start here in thebUK for the Telugu (regional language) speaking people. As a result, I established Bethel Ministries Telugu Church on 6th September 2009. With a motto to make everyone victorious and a pillar in the temple of God as it is said in Revelation 3:12 “The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God and I will also write on them my new name”. As only prayers are a back bone to Bethel Ministries, we strive to achieve this by different ministries like Gospel Outreach Ministry on high streets of London, Women fellowship, fasting prayers, Cell groups, Bible studies along with Sunday Services.
Over years we have come across many hurdles and obstacles but nothing could move us away from the love of God He was so gracious and merciful from the day we have started this ministry. As the years passed by we have seen how God mightily moved among the families of our Church be it in their areas of work, family or financial matters.
Another important aspect of our Bethel Ministries is counselling. As every year students pour into London for studies, we see them moving astray from God. To help these wonderful children of God who come here to the UK, leaving parents and loved ones, there is a need for proper counselling according to the word of God. As I bring them the word of God I have a wonderful opportunity to give guidance and to counsel this 'Facebook & Google generation' to bring them in-line with the word of God.
I strongly believe that Christianity is not religion but a relationship. An eternal relationship with God our maker. To have this relationship in good shape we need to have individual and collective (group) growth in Christ, both in Spirit and in the word. So come join us for our Sunday service or mid-week events.
