Tamil Worship Service: 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm EST
In the Month of April 2009, a small gathering of Tamil Christians were longing to grow spiritually and praying earnestly to have a fellowship. By the guidance of God the Holy Spirit, a congregation was formed and named as Eternal Grace Church for the Heavenly purpose of:
1. Gaining knowledge of the Holy Bible (1 Peter 2:2) whereby to be conformed to the Glorious Image of Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior (Romans.8:29)
2. Preaching and teaching the Holy Scriptures to other fellow-men and women (Psalm 68:11)
3. Increasing in good deeds to others solely for the Glory of God (Matthews 5:16; Hebrews 13:16)
4. Preparing ourselves and others to meet our Glorious and Blessed Savior Jesus Christ at His imminent Return to the Midair to Rapture His Glorious Church so as to be with Him in the Glory throughout all Eternity (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
As much as the Fundamental truths of Assemblies of God in the U.S. are precisely scriptural-based, our congregation aspired to be part of that denomination. As a result of our desire, Eternal Grace Church was affiliated to the Assemblies of God in the month of August 2009. By divine providence, our church is growing spiritually and numerically. Believers residing in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania are wholeheartedly attending Sunday Services and all Special Services of Eternal Grace Church. The Church is being attended at times by missionaries, evangelists, pastors and Bible teachers of the Assemblies of God. In order to avoid diversion from the true Word of God, we selectively invite ministers who believe as well as devotedly follow all the sixteen fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.
As part of the mission of the Great Commission, we have zeal to reach the unreached regardless of the ethnic background. In order to fulfill the mission, our congregation has designated and dedicated evangelistic ministries. With much prayer as we are endeavoring to win new souls for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, we are rest assured by the Holy Bible that such Labor is not in vain in the LORD. (1 Corinthians 15:58).
