Pastor Wilson Kadavil was born and raised in Kerala, India. After completing his masters in 1978 he and his wife Valsamma moved to Edmonton. Pastor Wilson worked as Power Engineer for Imperial Oil Strathcona Refinery until 2011. He has completed his Biblical Studies from ICI University, Missouri, USA, through Vanguard Bible College, Edmonton. Over the years, Wilson has been an active layman in his local church and was engaged in teaching Sunday school and Youth Group and served in Stephen Ministries. Pastor Wilson is an ordained minister of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada and New India Pentecostal Church in India.
Pastor Wilson served in many churches, which includes serving as an Associate Pastor of Christ Family Fellowship in Edmonton, Canada, Senior Pastor of Bethel IPC church, West Palms Beach, FL, Associate Pastor of Zion Assemblies of God, Hollywood, FL and served as a lay-pastor at Millwoods Assembly for many years. He took the pastoral leadership of Maranatha Church on December 09, 2006 and is continuing.
Pastor Wilson is one of the few who envisioned and started the “Western Pentecostal Conference (WPC)” which began in 1988 and is still continuing successfully. Pastor Wilson enjoys preaching and teaching the Word of God. He conducts seminars on various topics in local churches and other ministry agencies as well as hosts small groups and worship services on a regular basis. Pastor Wilson is a talented writer who wrote many articles in different periodicals and has published one book in Malayalam. Pastor Wilson has a special vision for India. He takes Canadians on short-term missions to India and visits India on regular evangelistic mission trips. He serves as the Vice president of Pentecostal Assembly, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Pastor Wilson & Valsamma are blessed with two children, Shauna and James (Amanda, wife of James) and two grandchildren.
