I used to believe, "Life” means living, but in reality it means dying.
“One day a doctor told us that my dad who was a'Retired Major officer of Indian Army', has only two weeks to live.”
I was born in a Sikh family and I was Science student. One of my friends from the University convinced me to take my dad to see some preachers, 'who pray for the sick, and people get healed.’
"I still remember, doctors had given my Dad two weeks to live . A friend invited us to Pastor Carlos Annacondia's Crusade and we went with him.
He prayed over my dad and asked me what would I give to Jesus as a thanksgiving for my Dad's healing. While I was getting my wallet, the preacher responded, "No, No! Jesus is not after your money, He is after your heart." It was then, when I gave my heart to Jesus, and made THE MOST IMPORTANT decision of my life.
Long story short, my dad got miraculously healed and that was appropriately 25 years ago. By God's grace my dad lived 25 years after that Miracle, and that night I couldn't sleep because my mind could not comprehend what had happened. As a science student, I always wanted to understand everything. It was then when my heart started to cry for “The God of universe” and that night I got a visitation from Heaven.
One night while reading my bible I found an unique and very challenging scripture in Mark 16:17. It says "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons... ...they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” I was told that every true believer of Jesus Christ, can experience the manifestations of these signs; I wanted to see if it was really true or just a nice story.
I started to work hard in become an authentically genuine believer. I did my best and started to live according to the New Testament of the Bible.
After around six months, few other believers and I went to the nearest hospital, found someone who was seriously ill and dying. This man had a tumor in the middle of his brain, no surgery, no hope, no cure. We prayed for him in Jesus name, we annointed him with the oil and came back home. Long story short, that man got healed and that big tumour disappeared, when his wife brought all the old and new Cat Scans on saturday; we almost fainted, we were greatly shocked with that amazing surprise. Praise the Lord God.
That was the beginning of something Glorious and beautiful, a new life in Christ Jesus. In these 27+ years many people got healed, delivered and got blessed by the Power of Christ. Praise the Lord. Jesus Christ is Alive.
When Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He killed his own death and destroyed the power of Death. So now HE is "The Life" and not the Death.
In John 11:25 Jesus said to Marta, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live" Just Call Him, and you will see HE will come, He Lives. Jeremiah 33:3 declares, "Call to Me, and I will Answer you. I will tell you Great and Mysterious things that you do not know"
