Rev Geevarghese Kochummen was born in Kundara, Kerala, India. His Mother Parish is Christos Mar Thoma Church, Karipurram. He did his Bachelor in Theology in Banglore and B.D at Kottayam Seminary. He was ordained as a priest of the Mar Thoma Church on June 27th, 1995. He had ministered at Thekkady, MTC, Kummali MTC, Angamaly MTC, Perunad MTC, Emmanuel MTC, Pune, St. Stephens MTC, New Jersey. He was the founder of Marthoma Central School, Varkala. He was the principal and manager of IMTC School, Pune and the Director of Jyothis Special School at Mavelikara. He also had served as the Sabha Council member, Diocesean Council member at Mumbai Diocese, Trivandrum-Kollam Diocese & Chengannur-Mavelikara Diocese. He had worked as the Mumbai Diocese convention convenor and also the committee member of many committees of the Sabha and Dioceses.
His wife is Mrs.Mini Kunjukunju. Mini Kochamma's home parish is Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, Chengamannad.
