Pastor Roy Cheriyan is a man of God with vision and the courage to carry out the will of God in total faith. He is a man of integrity and compassion, focused on spreading the Gospel of Christ to anyone he meets. He was saved in 1987 and baptized in Salem India Pentecostal Church, Mavelikara, Kerala. He is a friend of all denominations and loves and serves God passionately. He has a BA in Pastoral Theology and an MDiv.
He has been married for 31 years to Kunjukunjamma (Sarah) and is blessed with three boys: Joshua, Jason, and Justin. Joshua is a graduate of Central Bible College and is currently a music pastor in Seattle.
Pastor Cheriyan is an ordained minister with Assemblies of God and has been leading International Assemblies of God, Arizona since its birth in 1997. He has also founded Mizpah GoodNews Ministries and Rhema Bible Seminary (located at Palakkad, Kerala, which is the bordering village of Kerala and Tamil Nadu) to win India for Christ. There is an orphanage, a tailoring school, an English Medium School, and over 75 Churches under this ministry. He is currently the president of the ministry and principal of the Bible College which is accredited by Asia Theological Agency (ATA).
He also works as a prison chaplain and has recently started a bible seminary to equip and empower almost 80 inmate students to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ as and when they get released, or even while they are incarcerated.
