Pastor Samuel Chandran was born and raised in Chennai, India. He received the Lord to be the savior and dedicated his life in 1997, which lead to a major turn in his life. He believes that God is always looking out to offer second chances to people and that the grace of God carries us beyond our past failures. He has a Masters in Social work, Philosophy, Psychotherapy & Counseling, Christian Ministry, an Associate degree in computers and nonprofit management. After his graduation from seminary and secular school, he worked for Compassion International for little over 4 years, facilitating and monitoring child development and Child survival program in North India. During his work with them he traveled extensively to several states and mission fields training, monitoring and conducting advocacy workshops, raising awareness on children in poverty, their needs and neglects.
In response to God’s call he stepped into full time ministry in the year 2008, worked as associate Pastor with an International Church in Minnesota for 5 years. Moved to Florida in 2013 to establish an Indian Church, He is passionate about teaching God’s word and reaching out to people with God’s love. He is currently our Lead Pastor from 2016; we are greatly excited to see what God has in store for the church through him. He also works as Chaplain at VITAS Health Care Corp mainly focusing on ministry to hospice patients towards the end of their lives and also ministers to families that are dealing with death and dying. He is married to Jerusha Chandran, who assists in ministry and administrative areas for the church and they are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Joelle and Jeanelle.
