I was born and raised in a Christian family in Pakistan. Having served there as a pastor and church planter, I had also found it important to learn as much as I could about the religion of the majority of my fellow Pakistani neighbors, and thus gained a degree in Islamic Studies from one of the country’s leading educational institutions.
My love for sharing the gospel and for greater learning brought me to the United States, where I joined the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and began serving as Assistant Pastor of Evangelistic Outreach at Emmanuel. In addition to leading an Urdu/Hindi language worship service, I also devote my time to reaching out to people, especially fellow immigrants, with the gospel as well as lecturing on Islam and how it relates to the Christian faith.
